- Top-ups are not allowed as per UJ Policy, this the Maximum Approved NSFAS Rate for the year will cover all your accommodation expenses and needs.
- Maximum 2 people sharing of the same gender are allowed.
- No, All-Laundry facilities are free of charge.
- No, under no circumstances will we or any Property Manager be able to convert your NSFAS allowance into cash as its against the Universities Policy.
- No, unfortunately not!! However we do look at utmost special cases whereby it might be a family member traveling from far. Hence therefore arrangements will have to be made in advance with your designated Property Manager.
- No, unfortunately the system will only allow you to apply for one residence, however you can add the names of the 2nd and 3rd preferred residence in the Special Requirements and or Needs Column at the bottom of your Online Application.
- Yes, the University policy only requires transport if the property is situated more than 2km from APK Campus. With this being said, the properties further than 2km do provide reliable transport from 06:00am to 22:00pm.
- Yes, majority of the Properties managed by Jezreel Trading are NSFAS Accredited. However, we do have Strictly Cash properties as well.
- Yes, you’re more than welcome.
- No, as per your contract (Lease Agreement) you will have to serve a minimum of 1 Calendar Month(s) written Notice on the 1st of the month for the month.
- No, all-WIFI Facilities are FREE of charge and uncapped, No Top-ups needed.
- Yes, all units and properties are fully furnished.
- No, as per UJ Policy this is seen as an Occupational Health and Safety hazard.
- You will be liable for the months residing in the designated Residence (Property) equal to the Cash rate related to that specific Room.
- Yes, should you need to return back to residence earlier due to a supplementary exams, kindly arrange with your designated Property Manager as we will need to make the necessary arrangement including proof of supplementary exam as per your UJ Portal no printouts or emails will be accepted. There will also be a daily rate applicable that will contribute towards the facilities.
- No, however there are Terms & Conditions and procedures that will have to be followed before allowing your vehicle on the premises.
- Yes, we usually provide e-mail correspondence to all our tenants before the 1st of November with clear guidelines and Terms & Conditions regarding Storage for December and January.
